From San Antonio, Boerne (and Houston):
- Take IH-10 West past Boerne
- Take Welfare Exit #533 (The ranch is approximately 5 miles from this point).
Stay on access road ½ mile, take fork to the right, following signs to Welfare & Waring.
Continue on the Welfare-Waring Road for 4 miles.
- Turn right on Cravey Road.
Go 3/10 mile and cross the creek.
First gate on the left is the entrance to Joshua Creek Ranch.
From Austin (and Dallas):
- Take Highway 290 to Highway 281
- Take a left onto HWY 281.
Go through the town of Blanco
Travel until you see FM 473 (approximately 7 miles south of Blanco).
- Take a right onto FM 473.
You will see a sign after you turn that reads:
KENDALIA 7
COMFORT 33
When you get to Kendalia DO NOT take a left.
Continue on the 473 (to the right).
You will dead end into FM 1376.
- Take a left onto FM 1376.
- When you cross the Guadalupe River, look for the first road to your right and turn right (MARQUARDT Road).
- Follow it until you get to an intersection at Cravey Road, turn right onto Cravey
Road. Do not turn at the first Joshua Creek Ranch sign on the right, continue
Further down Cravey Road.
- At the bottom of the steep hill, and before
crossing the creek, turn right into the entrance of Joshua Creek Ranch.
