How long is your season?
Our season for quail, pheasant, chukar, and Hungarian partridge is from October 1st to March 31st. We are licensed to hunt year round, but we choose these months based upon the typical weather conditions, the flight ability of the birds and the hunting conditions for our dogs. There are times of the year when birds molt, breed and nest, and when hunting conditions are just too warm for dogs. If conditions permit we may start hunting earlier or extend the hunting for a few weeks in early April. We hunt dove, turkey and white-tail deer in open season. Axis deer may be hunted year round.
