If you’re looking to escape from Texas’ summer heat, Joshua Creek Ranch can help. Choose your favorite method for floating the river: canoeing, kayaking, or tubing. Spend a morning, an afternoon, or a day on the beautiful waters of the Guadalupe River! Joshua Creek ranch has almost 2 miles of the Guadalupe River defining its north boundary so you can enjoy the peaceful solitude of the quiet stretches and the exhilaration of white water without the hassle, noise and traffic you have to endure at the public rental places. We’ll take you to your put-in point and pick you up when you’ve finished floating your stretch. We have several float trip options, ranging from 1 ½ hours to 4 ½ hours. We’ll even pack you a picnic lunch to take with you in one of the canoes, or meet you with your picnic at the point where the waters of Joshua Creek and the Guadalupe River merge. Your trip down river will be unforgettable!
Call for float prices for canoeing, kayaking. Tubes rent for $20.00 per person per day or $18.00 if you're staying overnight.
Float trips are by reservation! We take you to the river and pick you up at your destination point. We strongly recommend that you get here no later than 9:30 am if it is a morning trip, and 1 pm if it is an afternoon trip. Ideally, morning float trips should see you on the river by 10 am, afternoon float trips, by 1:30 pm.
*Due to our upland gamebird hunting season, which runs from October 1st through April 15th, tubing, canoeing, and kayaking at Joshua Creek Ranch is from May 1st through September 1st only.
