The Joshua Creek Outdoor Adventure Program is all about outdoor knowledge and skill building; safe, responsible, and ethical conduct; AND having fun! Casting for Recovery (CFR), a national non-profit support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer, held their annual weekend retreat at Joshua Creek Ranch on April 13-15, 2012. The retreat was open to women of all ages and in all stages of breast cancer treatment and recovery who live in Texas and was offered at no cost to the participants. A great weekend of fishing, comraderie and healing was experienced by the group.
