Sporting Activities
The mild climate of the Texas Hill Country and the diverse topography at Joshua Creek Ranch make this an attractive year-round destination for much more than just hunting. In addition to gamebird and deer hunting September through March, guests can enjoy three different clay target shooting scenarios and fly-fish for rainbow trout in Joshua Creek. Spring and summer (April through August) attractions feature spring season turkey hunting and Axis deer hunting, clay target shooting, Helice or "zz birds" shooting and even expand beyond the ranch to fishing and kayaking on the Guadalupe River. Hiking on the ranch and biking on the miles of country roads in the area are among the other pastimes that beckon adventurers when the gamebird hunting habitat is resting and restoring.
There’s so much to see and do in the Texas Hill Country and Joshua Creek Ranch is geographically central to it all…literally at the epicenter of all the Hill Country. Within an hour or less of the ranch enjoy all that San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, New Braunfels and Bandera have to offer. Make the ranch your evening respite after a busy day exploring the countless points of interest so close to this secluded paradise.
